This calendar contains a wide variety of events across the DFW Metroplex for all ages and interests. We hope you will use it as your central hub for planning your stay in DFW if you have travelled to view the Total Solar Eclipse or if you are a resident seeking to make the most of this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

While the majority of the events are scheduled during the weekend before the Total Eclipse, others are programmed in the months leading up to the April 8, 2024 celestial event. Learn more about the Total Eclipse DFW here.

Event options include learning opportunities to help you and your family understand what happens during the Total Solar Eclipse, how to prepare and most importantly, how to protect your eyes during the lead up to and the aftermath of the period of totality.

Other events include music, arts, sports, celebrations, museums, businesses, food, local entertainment, tours and many others.

Total Eclipse DFW invited groups with events to upload the information to our site as a service to the community. We take no responsibility for the events, organizations/entities or any representations they have made. We provided the calendar only and are not liable for users’ experience with these organizations or events. By using the calendar on this website, you take full responsibility for your own dealings with the event organizers and posters.

With this understanding in place, we suggest you check back regularly to see additional events that have been posted. We expect the calendar to be updated more frequently by the community as the Total Solar Eclipse nears!

Nature of Appropriate Events
 
Organizations, including public and private entities, may upload information on our website for events specifically related to the Total Solar Eclipse DFW.  Generally, most events will take place between January 1, 2024, and April 8, 2024 within the limits of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.  Other events may be considered at the discretion of the website owner.  Please contact us if you have questions or wish to propose uploading information to our calendar that does not meet the requirements described in this paragraph.
 
In no case, will any event be uploaded or accepted on the Total Eclipse DFW 2024 website that is not related specifically to the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse.
 
Inclusion in the Calendar
 
All event submissions will be reviewed by the website owner and accepted or rejected for publication at the website owner’s sole discretion.
 
Responsibility for Accuracy and Compliance with City, State and National Laws and Guidelines
 
The person requesting the calendar entry is solely responsible for both the accuracy of the event and compliance with all laws and guidelines for the location where the event will take place and where the event owner is headquartered. The event owner may update event calendar entries after they have been posted.
 
Calendar Correctness and Up Time
 
The website owner will do its best to ensure the calendar runs smoothly and will operate the website with care.  However, it will not be the responsibility of the website owner to correct event entries on behalf of event owners, ensure 100% website uptime or to notify event owners if the website goes off-line or experiences other technical errors at any time.
 
Images and Rights of Use
 
The event owner has the option to upload images with the event calendar request.
1.	The event owner agrees that he/she is the owner of all rights to use the images and grants those rights to the website owner for use in the calendar item.
2.	The event owner transfers to the website owner a royalty-free, unrestricted, non-exclusive right to store, use, reproduce, distribute and make publicly accessible in modified or unmodified form on the Internet and via other media with or without naming the author for the purpose of publishing the Total Solar Event DFW calendar.
3.	The event owner will indemnify the website owner against all claims made by third parties.
4.	These regulations are equally valid for copyrighted text passages/texts.
 
Discontinuation of Calendar
 
The website owner may, at any time and for any reason, discontinue the calendar without notice. The website owner may also restart the calendar.  Event owners may need to upload their events again should this occur.  The website owner accepts no responsibility for archiving or otherwise uploading any event information or images.
 
Data Confidentiality
 
The website owner will not pass on any information to any third parties except as required by law.
 
Entirety of Terms of Use
 
These terms of use contain all provisions between the parties.
