This calendar contains a wide variety of events across the DFW Metroplex for all ages and interests. We hope you will use it as your central hub for planning your stay in DFW if you have travelled to view the Total Solar Eclipse or if you are a resident seeking to make the most of this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
While the majority of the events are scheduled during the weekend before the Total Eclipse, others are programmed in the months leading up to the April 8, 2024 celestial event. Learn more about the Total Eclipse DFW here.
Event options include learning opportunities to help you and your family understand what happens during the Total Solar Eclipse, how to prepare and most importantly, how to protect your eyes during the lead up to and the aftermath of the period of totality.
Other events include music, arts, sports, celebrations, museums, businesses, food, local entertainment, tours and many others.

Get ready for an unforgettable experience—the Total Solar Eclipse is coming to Corsicana and Navarro County! 
People in the middle of the eclipse path (yes, that’s us!) will enjoy over four minutes of this celestial spectacle. And we have planned a special Solar Eclipse Viewing party to Eclipse all others!
Angelita Vineyard & Winery is in the path of totality for the total solar eclipse. Located just minutes from downtown Corsicana, our vineyard and winery is spacious and charming. Our regular tasting room and outdoor seating area will be available on a first-come first-serve basis. Although we do have limited outdoor seating available, we encourage you to bring your own comfy blanket or bring your own chairs to find the perfect spot to enjoy! Prepare to watch this monumental event surrounded by several acres of beautiful vines for an expansive and unobstructed view. Feel free to bring games or viewing devices including telescopes and camera equipment.
We have a fun-filled day planned. Sip on the finest wines, handcrafted with love and care. Let the flavors of our award-winning wines elevate your eclipse-viewing experience to new heights! Groove to the rhythm of live music with Sandy Bates, a Corsicana native, amidst the sprawling vineyards as we await the breathtaking moment when the moon dances in front of the sun. Immerse yourself in good vibes as we come together to witness this awe-inspiring phenomenon. There is simply no better way to experience this once-in-a-lifetime event.
The event is outside rain or shine. Parking spots are in dirt or grassy areas. Please plan accordingly. Handicap parking will be available at the main entrance.
The event will be open at 9:00 a.m. for you and your loved ones to get set up for what is going to be a truly amazing and unique experience. Upon entry, you will need to show proof of admission for each person in the vehicle as we have a limited amount of tickets. So please order your tickets before we sell out. After parking, check in at the tasting room for your meal ticket, commemorative items, and your eclipse viewing glasses.

- Access to anywhere on the property for your own personal best view (first come, first serve on all parking and eclipse viewing).

- Lunch of a 100% prime cut beef hot dog plate with an assortment of toppings and chips from D&S Catering
- One soda or juice
