This calendar contains a wide variety of events across the DFW Metroplex for all ages and interests. We hope you will use it as your central hub for planning your stay in DFW if you have travelled to view the Total Solar Eclipse or if you are a resident seeking to make the most of this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

While the majority of the events are scheduled during the weekend before the Total Eclipse, others are programmed in the months leading up to the April 8, 2024 celestial event. Learn more about the Total Eclipse DFW here.

Event options include learning opportunities to help you and your family understand what happens during the Total Solar Eclipse, how to prepare and most importantly, how to protect your eyes during the lead up to and the aftermath of the period of totality.

Other events include music, arts, sports, celebrations, museums, businesses, food, local entertainment, tours and many others.

Total Eclipse DFW invited groups with events to upload the information to our site as a service to the community. We take no responsibility for the events, organizations/entities or any representations they have made. We provided the calendar only and are not liable for users’ experience with these organizations or events. By using the calendar on this website, you take full responsibility for your own dealings with the event organizers and posters.

With this understanding in place, we suggest you check back regularly to see additional events that have been posted. We expect the calendar to be updated more frequently by the community as the Total Solar Eclipse nears!

The event will be held at HALL Park, in the parking lot located at 2600 Network Blvd., Frisco, Texas 75034.

Free parking will be available in the 2401 Internet Boulevard and 2591 Dallas Parkway lots on a first-come, first-served basis.

If these lots become full, additional free parking will be available in the 2811 Internet Boulevard.

There will be numerous hands-on science activity stations, each centered around Eclipse-related subjects like orbits, gravity, scaled models, and beyond!

Among these stations will be a solar viewing area, that will provide guests with the unique chance to observe this celestial phenomenon up close through telescopes.

Food and beverage options will be available for purchase.

Guests are also welcome to bring their own food and beverage (non-alcoholic only). Coolers will be permitted.

Accessible parking, entry paths, and an ADA-accessible portable toilet will be available.

Additionally, for hands-on activities, we’ll provide various materials to enhance accessibility, including but not limited to tactile models, dry-erase boards, ASL video instructions, audio descriptions of signage, and bilingual signage in English and Spanish.

To accommodate neurodiverse guests, we’ll offer a social story online beforehand and set up a sensory blackout tent at the event site. This tent will be equipped with sound-dampening headphones, fidget toys, weighted blankets, white noise machines, and soft ambient lighting.

For your safety, please remember that viewing a solar eclipse without proper eye protection is dangerous.

Eclipse glasses that meet the ISO 12312-2 international safety standards, as well as solar-filtered telescopes, will be provided at the event site.
